In this workshop we would like to get together to discuss the ties between slut- and
whore/sex worker shaming, and look at ways to tackle these problems as one.

Slut shaming has been used for centuries to divide the „good“ from the „bad“ women*.
In other words the „saint“ from the „whore“. The concept of slut shaming has
consequently always been related to the stigmatization of sex workers. Challenging slut
shaming should also extend to challenging sex workers phobia, as sex worker phobia
within the feminist community keeps us from uniting against patriarchy.

Please note that this workshop wants to be a safe space for sex workers. While all non
cis-men who are interested, including sex workers and non sex workers, are welcome to
join this is not a place for anti-sex work attitudes. The work shop facilitators will ask
everyone who does not respect that to leave.

This workshop is hosted in collaboration with PROUD
